Pamela Morris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an Associates of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy from New York College of Health Professions, and a New York State License in Massage Therapy. She also holds a certification to practice the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release technique.
Pamela has become a passionate advocate of holistic health and wellness ever since it burst onto the scene of her life as an alternative way to relieve chronic pain and significantly decrease the effects of a debilitating anxiety and depression disorder. After years of doctors giving her a myriad of pharmaceutical “cocktails” that left her disappointed and still suffering, she knew there had to be a better way. Receiving massage therapy was her first experience with holistic medicine, and she has never looked back since.
She believes that true health and wellness isn’t ever truly achieved through a “pill” to be taken only when needed; it is a lifestyle that needs to be adapted and blanketed over every aspect of ones life, both for client and practitioner alike. With the proper resources, support, and commitment, she encourages everyone that seeks a better way, just like she did, to take a step of faith and invest in their health: not only in the short-term, fixing problems only when they occur, but for the long-term level of wellness that can be achieved by preventing those problems in the first place through holistic alternatives like massage therapy.
